supposed to stay at home and pack my room today
since dear's only booking out in the evening
but last minute got called out by my dear cousin to celebrate her bdae with her

went to raffles marina club at tuas

went for the City Harvest Church Family Day carnival at Expo
and Milk's the special guest for Sun Ho's concert
the concert was quite alright though
Milk's breakdance was still as bombastic as ever! =D
i got to admit that he dances better than kunda la
heh

the place was damn crowded.free entrance,perhaps that's why.

oh i got to take a pic with Sun while waiting for Milk at the backstage.
not really a fan of hers but yah,she's quite friendly after all.

i don't know how u guys think but i thought qualifications and potential are two unrelated things.

the law doesn't state that only degree holders can play with music,does it?

i don't understand why some adults love to determine a person's hardwork by just looking at his/her result slip.

sometimes,i really hate myself for being in such a practical society whereby people believes that having a cert can ensure you a good life in future.

owell u can argue 'who doesn't want a good life in future?'
but how do u exactly define good life?
earning millions of dollar and leading a luxurious/extravagant lifestyle?
or just able to do what u like and be happy with it for the rest of ur life?
i choose the latter.

sometimes we just have to learn to be contented with the things
around us.we're only young once.Of course i would want to do something i like and not regret in future.

i'm not saying qualifications do not matter at all.We each have the responsibilities to excel in studies,be it for ourselves,for our parents or for this particular society. But if we were to fail,it's not the end of the world.There's still other routes for us to take.Routes to success in life.

sometimes even me myself is unsure
perhaps i cared too much on how people think about me
thank god i've got supportive parents,sisters,bf & friends...

bestie persuaded me to continue my studies in private uni and reminded me of how practical this society is.I know u said that for my own good.I'm really thankful for that and i'll definitely continue my studies in future,perhaps a year or two later but definitely not now.I know u're worried that i won't feel like studying after so long but i can assure u that that will not happen ok.Right now,i just wanna concentrate in my passion for music,learning as much things as possible.i know i'm gonna have ur support.=D

i'm back from chalet.
it was an awesome one though the time was short.
great fun with my angeltribe as well as my cousin they all
=DDD

my cousin in law owns a childcare by the way and this
chalet was actually organised for her graduating k2 kids.
Because the kids weren't be staying on fri's night,i was told to bring some friends over for a stayover since there's extra room for us.
(:

i think the girls had a great time with the kids
especially peipei who was sooooo overwhelmed when a cute girl(minghui)called her 'xiao ke ai'

pei's gonna kill me if she sees this.

i got to admit that kids nowadays really talk like adults

this,

is the birthday cheesecake i bake for dear (:
it fetched good comments ok
hee.

my plans for the day din work out though
we had an impromtu mass cleaning up of his house =/
was kinda disappointed actually but got to help his mum if not she had to do it alone.
they're expecting a few relatives from overseas to stay over at their house.
so yeah
we had to sacrifice a few hours of our time

but it was worth it though
managed to chat a lot with his mum
got to know more about his childhood,his family,etc.
his mum even showed me the birthday cards that dear drew for her when he was young!!!
so cute.

by the time we're done,the sun has set already.
went back to his new house to cut the cake and sing bdae song

cab down to cine for a movie after that
watched 'my wife is a gangster'
hillarious.
after that had supper at the kopitiam opp cine
and off we went for our usual singing session

we sang till around 5am the next morning!
damn fun la
but i was dead beat
went home with dear after that
slept at his place till around noon
was feeling very unwell the whole night
due to the stupid cramps =/

went home at around 3plus in the afternoon.
to change and all
met dear again ard 8pm for dinner @ vivo
dine at a jap restaurant there
my treat!=D
the food was not bad
the ambience was great
haha

went to see brendon
miss him so much!

however, we could only talk via the phone
since we were not allowed to enter the clean room that he's in
but we're able to see him through a glass panel though

initially we were advised not to visit him in case he feels inferior
but now,he's better in understanding why we are not allowed to enter his room.
time flies
it's been two weeks since he was admitted
really hope he can get well soon (:

oh anyway,before heading to NUH,i made a trip to oceanbutterfly for my audition for the vocal course.

so work ended pretty early for me today (:
it was quite alright i think.
the judge happened to be my sis's guitar instructor.
got to explain myself first in case he mistook us for the same person

anyway, have to wait for their reply within the next one week
hope i can get in =D
